I have long admired the gorgeous packaging of this premium toothpaste brand despite never having tried it. For some reason, I imagined the taste wouldn't live up to the aesthetic. How wrong I was.

On a recent trip to Portland, I purchased a quirky toothpaste tube roller as one is wont to do in a beautifully curated showroom like Canoe. Anyway, when I bought it, I knew it demanded an equally handsome tube of paste. At last, a reason to buy The Prettiest Paste of all time.

For reasons unknown to me still, I went out on a limb and went straight in for the most exotic flavor: Jasmine Mint. And may I say, it is the most fragrant, floral delight, while still imparting a clean minty flavor with no antiseptic sting.

Thank you Marvis. I love you even more now, despite the fact that your name was stolen from one of my mother's friends in the '70s.
